Letitia Plowden is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about empowering individuals to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and thrive both personally and professionally. Known for her compassionate and practical approach, Letitia specializes in anxiety, stress management, emotional wellness, self-esteem, and life transitions.
With more than 19 years of experience working with teens, families, and individuals from diverse backgrounds, Letitia is committed to creating a supportive and collaborative therapeutic environment. Her counseling approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused practices to help clients develop healthy coping strategies, increase emotional awareness, and achieve meaningful personal growth.
For clients who desire it, Letitia also incorporates faith-based principles into the counseling process as a source of strength, healing, and guidance.
Letitia holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the College of Charleston, a Master of Education in Secondary Counselor Education from South Carolina State University, and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Leadership and Administration from Argosy University.
