Leslie McCall

M.A., LPC

Leslie McCall is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with more than 25 years of experience working with children and families with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, trauma, marriage, and family. She uses a Cognitive Behavioral Approach by employing strategies such as Behavior Modification to address behavioral issues and to bring about change. She is an advocate for educating children and families on making informed choices for life-long improvement.

In addition to her work at The Counseling Center of Florence, Leslie serves as a School Based Therapist for Florence School District One.  She has coordinated community programs and workshops, provided case management and treatment services to youth, and has taught parenting strategies in state agencies as well as treatment facilities.

She completed the Project BEST learning collaborative on Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and is listed on a statewide roster of trained professionals.

Leslie is a doctoral candidate in psychology at Walden University and a candidate for Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S). She earned her M.A. in counseling from Webster University and her B.S. from South Carolina State University. She also enjoys teaching as an adjunct professor for Coker College.
