JESSICA BOYD

Jessica Boyd is a counseling associate and provisionally licensed art therapist who works with children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma and addresses a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, women's issues, pre/postpartum concerns, LGBTQIA+ matters, gender identity, racial identity, relationship issues, school-related challenges, self-esteem, and more.
Jessica earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Lander University and her Master’s Degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Pennsylvania Western University: Edinboro. She is also an art therapist for MUSC Health’s Arts in Healing program.

With a client-centered approach, Jessica employs an eclectic therapeutic style, predominantly incorporating art therapy into her practice. She also provides talk therapy, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques to best support her clients’ unique needs.
